Tundra Swans at the Aylmer Wildlife Management Area

I was at the Aylmer Wildlife Management Area (AWMA) on Wednesday March 17 2010 to get a glimpse of the mass migration of tundra swans.  The swans stop off at the AWMA to rest and feed on corn during their trip that will take them from the Eastern U.S. all the way up to the Mackenzie Delta.   The numbers are expected to peak between March 18-21 this year with a maximum of 6000 swans appearing per day.
